Old man joined that a few weeks back.

The 2.0 tdi got written off, he bought himself a red 3.2 quattro to replace it.

He does 60 miles commute a day

I have the bid engine in my golf, had nothing but problems with it starting with a timing belt change that wasn't done correctly. Basically it started from cold like a bag of spanners then when it was warm it ran fine, had loads of sensors, wiring looms, fuel pump and a clutch and flywheel too!

Only plus side is with a simple remap it is around 180bhp and feels a lot more responsive to drive. If it wasn't for all the little problems I'd be keeping it.
