Audi sport is a funny forum, been on there quite a bit but notice alot of it is people talking about a car they have ordered or thinking of ordering, very boring.
Old man joined that a few weeks back.
The 2.0 tdi got written off, he bought himself a red 3.2 quattro to replace it.
He does 60 miles commute a day

Went something like...
"If your having to wait until 6000-7000rpm to hit maximum bhp then you've already lost"
That's like saying that AIDS is better than not-AIDS.
He probably needs a bit of this...

I can imagine audi sport having lots of threads about optimum tyre pressures and fuel economy.

I have the bid engine in my golf, had nothing but problems with it starting with a timing belt change that wasn't done correctly. Basically it started from cold like a bag of spanners then when it was warm it ran fine, had loads of sensors, wiring looms, fuel pump and a clutch and flywheel too!
Only plus side is with a simple remap it is around 180bhp and feels a lot more responsive to drive. If it wasn't for all the little problems I'd be keeping it.
