I never imagined that I would be in a situation whereby I would type something like this, but here goes...

I think that white Renault Trafic looks really nice.

Just went and looked at a local conversion.. 59 (10) plate 2.0cdti (auto) SWB with 70k on the clock.. Real nice spec too, AC, heated screen, traction, electrics etc.

The guy was looking for £8,500 while the actual van was pretty tidy (other than the roof looks like an elephant has sat on it) the camper conversion its self was a bit slap dash, he had bought the rock-and-roll bed & units ready made (and they were fairly decent) but the installation left a lot to be desired!

Compact = SWB

I love the way they drive and there is so much more head-room than other stuff.

They bloody need to be

Mercedes must have been properly determined to get rid of that pesky reputation for flawless impeccable quality for quite a few years!

But only the commercial and the budget stuff (for the peasants) bar the ML and GL which I believe some are still build in the US.

Just went and had a nose at this as its literally a stones throw from here:

Its a 2012 110cdi with 45k on the clock but its CAT D and they want £10k+vat.

You guys know me and that I love a CAT D... Anyway the story goes this van was vandalised so it was written off and re-sprayed..

I thought it looked and sounded too good to be true so I popped over and I think they are being a little economical with the truth! It clearly had a pattern wing and head-light on the drivers side and you can see its been tugged about, also its fitted with aftermarket wheels and in the back there were two VITO wheels which makes you think "Where are the other two?" clearly a little bit too egg shaped/cracked to be serviceable.. Also none of the documentation was available to prove the mileage, needless to say I walked away
