That would probably tip it GB.
But if it were one or t'other, WITH the ecoboost lump, I think i'd be leaning towards the focarse.
Presumably less weight, possibly more power, four wheel drive, plus more practical and less thirsty would clinch it I think.
The Mustang's a very important car though, so it would be sorely tempting.
If the V8 was the same price or cheaper to buy than the little hatchback, i'd be pulling my hair out trying to decide which.

Absolutely, if I was buying a Mustang it would have to be the V8 for me personally.
So yeah, between the two ecoboosts it's easily the Focus.

For what reason? Top gear type comments or because you just want a V8?

Obviously you would get comments from people that drive Kias that you've got the 'wrong engine'.
But aside from that, I think the V8 suits the type of car that it is better, and yeah, I just want one.

The V8 is £33k, ecoboost ones are £29k, cheaper than the RS will be.

That pistonheads artical states its arriving this year too
Im really looking forward to the new Civic Type-R but feel this will be the one to beat now if its as good as it sounds on paper. Interesting how they have taken a different approach. ford have gone for the complex drivetrain and honda have opted for the safe FWD but with alot of aero (apparently confirmed fully flat floor and functional rear spoiler and front splitter)
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

It was obvious, wasn't it?
Why would it come with less power than the rs500?
They had the 5.0 mustang in work yesterday testing it on the trains. I missed it but my sources said it looked and sounded great. It's also quite a large car.

Mate sent me some pics. Looks good in black, but needs the 18'' track wheels (on the blue one) as i think the 19's are a bit too blingy.

Just not keen on it being a 5-door.
Same with the Audi RS3, would like to see them both being done in 3-door

Absolutely, 5 door ruins it.
Even then it just isn't exciting me as much as the Mk2... the grey looks nice though.

Chrome trim looks gash, wheels look like they belong on a Mondeo Ghia from 1999. Liked it, now disliking it.

He must need to go to specsavers as there isn't any chrome trim on the exterior. It's not a pak1 spec Mercedes.
