Piss off with the deals ffs mines about £64 currently.

Used to have fibre with sky but downgraded to unlimited and it's pretty much the same, got multi room but no movies or boxsets. Apart from that i'm happy, bar the price.

Can anyone spot an end date?

Tempted to do it, have it under the girlfriends name at the moment (she had a friends and family discount for the 1st year, now on our 3rd year paying a normal amount)
I had it on the same deal a few years before on the same address!

Just worries they will not honour it, although it does say "You must not have been a Sky customer for at least 12 months" which i havent!

What's to stop her "moving out" and you taking on a contract as a new property owner?

Hmmm...

So it's currently down as Miss Katie Hatton.

If o get her to cancel, and then use that awesome offer as Mr. Walford, they won't think that's suspect?

Gonna get her to phone up and cancel tomorrow's as we pay nearly 100 quid for everything somehow.

35 quid is a little better

Ok, cancellation in action.

My only worry is that... Sky and line rental was in her name, but o2 broadband was in my name, so they had that in file, at our address. He did say that we would of been able to get sky broadband for free for a year as we weren't officially sky broadband customers, but I'm not paranoid that they have my details for this address and won't let us sign up.

Gonna give it a go still obviously...

Found it a bit weird that they didn't try harder to keep us too

30 days to cancel, but you could order now for installation in 30 days time I guess?

Either way, sky are cunts. Their actual service is great, but they honestly don't give a fuck about existing customers, hence the offers for tellys and all sorts being chucked at new customers.

I gave Virgin 30 days notice to expire on the 4th Sept. Sky is going in on the 27th of this month.

Hmm, isn't letting me use this deal, "From the information provided, it appears you may already be a Sky customer, or have previously had Sky at this address."

Said that I'm moving into the address, used my missus name, it was K.Hatton, used K.Walford for the new account, using a different email address, but seems they're onto us

Looks like i'm stuck paying a fortune then, might have to call them back and un-cancel everything

Wait and see what retentions offer you. They will want to retain the business if they can.

Just been looking at alternatives, and well, there's not any.

Can't get Virgin and bt is going to cost just as much as sky. And as we can only get 3mb Internet, a box isn't much use either

Balls.

The offer doesnt seem to work for me. I click through the link they email me, click on an offer (The £27 a month with unlimited fibre) and its showing as £48 a month.
Click add a code, put it in and it goes back to the offers page with the 2 offers.

Round in circles!

As I said earlier, I have a friend who works for Sky and he gets a limited number of codes to give out a month. I think this is the same deal I currently have. If you are interested leave your email address and full name and I'll get him to send you a code. The deals change month to month though so next months may differ.

Current deal

Just seen an advert for "stay with sky" where they're offering 35% off for 12 months for existing customers...

WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T THEY OFFER ME THAT WHEN I WANTED TO QUIT?!

Ok, it seems like it's only offered after you leave them... Never knew sky did personalised adverts. Cool!

Yeah, they're cunts. Absolute cunts.

Can't wait until discrimination and racism pc laws start affecting them and they have to offer everyone the same deal.

Might shout down the phone ''iz it coz I iz english'' next time I speak to them.

I got Sky movies, Sky sports and the HD pack for them for £17.50 a month for a year off him, that may still be the price. Have a look online then just half it
