I'm hoping to eat my 50p microwave lasagne at about midnight tonight. I didn't buy it, it was bought for me in sympathy of my current situation. I was very grateful that people care.

Up north, doesn't count. Probably cost about 20 pence each.
Yeah, but i've always dreamed of owning over priced property in the south whereby the the yield is terrible.

How can you not? Never ever stuck in rush hour cunt traffic when on nightshirt and I get 7-8 hours sleep, rather than the 5 hours I get when on earlies.

Agree with Davey and others. I've done several month stints on nightshift and it seriously screws with me. I can't switch my meals around so end up having breakfast at just about every meal. Can't quite swing the body clock round a full 12 hours so end up on a sort of hybrid sleep pattern. Nightshift is for a particular type of person but that certainly isn't your average bloke.
No one likes being average.
Average is a term used by men who have had their balls ripped off by their missus.

How are you worse off?
I don't know how else to explain it
I got a pay rise, as in there is a higher number than there used to be on the left hand side of my payslip.
However because the national insurance and tax contributions have been increased, there is now a lower on the right hand side of my payslip.

I guess you work in the public sector, and have a pension you're contributing to?

No one would pay more than £15k for one when they could just rent it hassle free.
No one has £15k these days, just £300 a month

Loads of people have large savings these days. My Nan has a fair few bob tucked away as she doesn't do finance or credit cards.
I bowled around the high street with almost 20k when I was sorting my mortgage out and I was 21 at the time, so fairly easy to obtain large amounts of cash providing you're not a complete moron.

Got paid since leaving my last job but on emergency tax so it's even worse than I could imagine. I will get the money back but I'm supposed to be going on holiday next month and kinda needed some spending money. Oh well.
