I'm not quite sure what you mean.
Do you have the top or bottom part in the pic below?
On both of them the original bulbs just pull out.

hmmmm mines different to urs
mine dont split into 2 parts
also in the first part of the pic where the bulbs are, i have 2 black clips (1 either side of the bulbs) and alot more white plastic
another question, once ive primed it, do i spray the paint straight on top, or do i rub it down again with 1200 then paint it

Yours is different to both the above two? I've only seen these two, I don't know of another type. If you have two clips either side of the bulb holder, release the clips and the holders should come out in one piece.
I rubbed my primer down before topcoating.

I would leave the hazard light bulb alone, 'cos like you say, its a pig to get out. I have 6 leds soldered directly to the copper track in mine. I've just got hold of some 10000mcd blue leds, I'm gonna fit a few of them and see how it looks, should really glow.

u dont need to take the whole centre bit out as the front comes away from the main bit. Its alot easier doing it this way as u dont need to remove the heater controls behind. I did mine this way and its straight forward

what leds do you use? where do you get em from?
n e ways i've sprayed my bits red but i found it most diffcult getting the cnetre back in.
my first prob was it was a well tight fit and i din't think i'd let the paint dry properly, so ruined it puttting it back in....
...so i had to repaint it and found that leaving it in something like an airing capboard helped the paint harden nicely.

Also since i've painted my stuff red already, can i rub it down with someting like 800grit, then 1200 grit and repaint it another colour.
Cause i want to change it to something like a titanium colour.
Do i have to re primer as well, i think i do, just checking

i dont know much about that, but if i was u, id rub it down to the plastic with like 240 grit, then repeat the processes u done to paint it in the first place, inc primer

Luca, how did you manage to blow a led? I've sent you u2u.
M4tt, if the paint is good, just rought it slightly to prodide a key for the new paint, you shouldn't need to take it back to plastic and re prime it. Thats far too much like hard work.
