That is more believable. Therefore have thought he had taught you a lesson by 100mph and stopped accelerating to save points on his license. You of course being Boyracer Kev, with one hand on the wheel and burberry kept accelerating to 120 to show him the man that you are and naturally passed him only after he backed off.

You wouldnt believe how much 17" wheels impair your acceleration from the their increase on the gearing and extra unsprung load. I would be interested to see you car do the low 14s quarter mile that the cupra's can do

To be fair you can never know when sumone is fully trying or not, i mean i just had a play with a Vectra 1.8 now i wasnt in the mood for caning it and going past him so i just let him accelerate i stayed the same distance behind him, now wen he was doing 100 and i was just accelerating smoothly in 5th he probably thought he was giving me a run for my money wen really i couldve passed him at any time i wanted to.
Not that the leon wasnt trying it was just a passing comment from me

Any car thats been modified by a Kev with their GTF induction kit and peco exhaust and big weelz is usually 10% slower than when it left the factory with normal sized wheels.

To be fair... its chipped, full magnex and standard airbox as he put on this morning to run better. 17's look really good.
Did'nt you have 17's on your Punto Turbo?

I had 17s yes, they looked nice, but definetly impaired its acceleration by a large amount.
The only reason I couldnt use anything smaller (though I wouldve liked to) was because of my brakes were the same size as the original wheels!

Because the torque is lost trying to turn the fuckers and the extra weight.

Yes I really hate knowing that most of the worlds cars are faster than my own, and for this I am very bitter of course.

yeh the superchip is crap, its not a very intelligent chip at all, thats why im upgrading it for a Hill power (reno specialists) chip which comes highly recommended by members of cliosport.net
also, i do realise that 17s do hinder my acceleration no end yes, but i bought the car with them on, and i like them, i will be putting 15s on when i take it up the strip.
