Didnt do much to this last week as i was finishing off repainting this boxster white.

But tonight i got the prepped car in the booth

put 2 coats of wet on wet (sealer to some people) in a similar colour to the base coat

and then painted it

Extremely happy with it,
the booth lights dont show the colour up too well on the camera but ill get some photos tomorrow outside in the sun

Oh yes. It's clear over base
Standox standohyd base coat
Standox VOC standocryl clear

It will be darker outside
Basically lightish grey in direct sunlight and almost black in the shade.

Going to be amazing then

You still doing the wheels grey or are you risking red, gold or something instead?

Gonna plastidip them red
If I don't like it then I'll just peel it off. If I do like it then I'll refurb them and paint them red

I found out about this lacquer last week. Basically twice as thick as the stuff i usually use so no need.
Although I'll decide in the sun tomorrow

It's an aerosol. If I don't like it you can just peel it off. Rather than wasting materials and time painting them again .
