Just watched it. Wow. Not much else to say, amazing run, looked like he was going to get caught a few times and he just upped it every time. The crowd helped him home too. Brilliant

So....

World record in the 4*100, with Bolt actually trying to get a record when I don't bet on it

Gold in the boxing for Luke Campbell, first at that weight since 1908 apparently.

and Bronze for little innocent love of the nation Tom Daley

Good night of sport

Was a bit skewed though which they didn't seem to point out till the end. The only reason has was top was because he'd done the harder dive earlier, so realistically Bronze was always the most likely coming into the last dive

Fair play to him anyway, had a tough year, and he was over the moon with getting the Bronze

Was happier with the bronze than the Chinese was with the silver!! It was actually nice to see some more exuberant celebrations for once, the officials have been too strict and taken the fun out of it. Nick Dempsey got bollocked for leaving his board in the water to celebrate with his team, the shot putter got done for literally tearing his shirt off, etc etc

That said Mo Farrah doing a Ussain Bolt and Bolt doing the Mo 'M' together on the top step was quite a good moment too.

What was the story with Luke Donald's mum? They said something about her as the program ended but the credits came on before they finished

Bit gay but watching the rhythmic gymnastics on bbc3 and although o have no idea what's going on.the skill and accuracy is insane. Some lass just flung a hoop up 30 foot in the air, caught it on her foot while upside down, span it around on her toes and flung it back across the other side of the mat to one if her teammates.

I don't get how they hardly make a mistake!

Bit..gay.... It's more gay than watching the men's water polo mate.

I'm waiting for the combined in the pentathlon just to see whats going on with it.

Looks like we're finishing with a silver in the modern pentathlon another one for the north too, from clitheroe.

65 medals... Not bad.

I was like at some of the things they do!!

... however, I do question why its an Olympic "sport". You'd probably see the same routines in a circus. oh well. Still a good watch
