That mission in the warehouse against Dimitri, I keep getting nailed

You kill all his men & then the cops turn up. Have a bit of a shoot out with them but your told you've got to get back to LJ's cafe. Hopped in a cop car for a speedy getaway but he never makes it in, he always gets killed. What am I doing wrong cos I can't think how else to getaway

I hid behind objects and kept popping upto shoot them. He managed to get into the car ok on mine.

If you run out and duck for cover behind the cop car, he'll get cover himself. Kill the cops from behind it, and jump in before more turn up. That's how I did it anyway.

completed story mode @ 65% rest is 35% of enoying things like kill 200 pigeons, probably the worse 3d gta! dull and not many funny moments.
Where's the planes, army, bmx's and things to spend your money on ?!
can you move the forks on the forklif or attach a trailer to the big 18 wheeler type cab ? some said that EA wanted to take over gta and seems like they already have with this gta title, more like a lame true crimes game rather than gta...

No planes because of realistic new york scenes and the 9/11 attacks. Same with army as it would like a terrorist attack had happened on new york

Dunno why they didnt put bikes in the game though

Does anyone else think of this as a polished up GTA 3??

its as though vice city and san andreas were merely spin offs. makes sense kinda as they were always more cartoony

I personally think this is a huge backward step from GTA3 tbh... the little features are ncie but the missions are shit and even the rampaging isnt as much fun... ie no army, no flamethrower etc

Perhaps the Xbox didn't have the power to be able to have bikes in the game. The PS3 version has bikes

Im with you on this one.
Lost so much of what made it fun with the pervious titles.
It needs more grass land for the crossers also

Still alot of the gaming sites gave it 10/10

Got my version of GTA IV for the 360 and have had continuous problems with a "disc read error" :-/ No marks on the disk at all, performed a lens cleaner but no success. I read that if you remove the HDD then it would remove the problem (which it did) but then theres is issue of saving etc. Also, after a short while, the graphics started to look abit messed up (ie. car didnt look like they were connected to the road, building renders disappear and reappear as you either move closer to them or further from them. Has anyone else had these kind of problems? Ive read quite a few other sites and a lot of people are having them. A lot of PS3 users are having freezing problems too.

thats a bastid of a mission. took me 3 attempts but i didnt realise there was a cover system the first 2 attempts

I havent had the disc read error but know all the other stuff. I think its all to do with what drive you have in your xbox, as on my mates xbox the same game runs flawless but on mine I get real bad popup and some textures take a while to appear.
