they have phoned me back and they definatly havent had any parcels through there for my address, he says he hasent got his phone, tbh weather its been destroyed or lost its only down to him and his mistake so im in a need of a refund me thinks

If a parcel is undelivered, it is returned to the sorting office where it is held for 7 days awaiting someone to claim it. If no one claims it, it is sent to the nearest main regional office where it is held for 30 days before being destroyed if is unclaimed there as well.
So unless it was delivered 37 days ago, it hasn't been destroyed and if anyone tells you it has, they're lying.
If the sorting office don't have it inside that time frame then it didn't make it to the sorting office.

my delivery office has told me they havent had any parcels through for my address, they wouldnt of told jay thats its bee nthere and wouldnt of been able to deliver because it was not tracked therefore they wouldnt no where it was, if what jay told me in the u2u is true and it did go back to my delivery office then they said if there wasnt a return to sender address like he said there wasnt then they send it to belfast to be opened, if theres still no return address inside they destroy it...hes said i can have a refund so well see what happens

How does Jay know it went back to your delivery office if they don't have it? Surely that would indicate that it didn't go back there and Jay is making it up?

thats waht im trying to say lol, he said hes been to his post office with the reciept..they told him it went to my delivery office was sent to me but because they couldnt read the postcode on the box they took it back to my office..the bloke on the phone said its aload of shit it wasnt tracked so its impossible for them to no where it is

Bloke on the phone speaks a lot of sense to be honest.
It's not tracked so you can't tell with any degree of accuracy where it is.
Even if it did exist and had been through the sorting office, it would be there for 7 days before going to Belfast for 30. Neither of these is the case.
And if they couldn't read the postcode on the box how did it make it to your sorting office in the first place?
If they couldn't read the postcode it wouldn't have left Merseyside. In fact if I turned up to my Post Office with a parcel whose postcode couldn't be read, I'm quite sure they would tell me what a rem I was there and then, before either taking the correct postcode or banning me from their premises.

exactly, and plus my postman isnt stupid if it had just my name hed no it was for me hes noes everyone in the area for obvious reasons, he hasnt been on here since he said he woudl give me a refund so i dont no
