I'm aiming for Trax 2007. It seems like it could be a realistic goal. Though I have just realised it's just under 4 months to go and I have a fair bit to do!
Everything was wrong, it wasn't done to a high enough standard for me and if you want something doing properly, you do it yourself. Though it has ended up turning into a near concours quest for perfection.
I was looking through the Zymol catalouge today and found a wax specificaly developed for Porsche paint too. I have Porsche paint. It costs about £100 a pot though, but I think it's worth it

Well, so far it hasn't taken 3 years.
It's taken about 1.5 years and I have re-built the rear arches, re smoothed the side skirts, stripped the entire body and doors to bare metal, built a cutom becak bumper, removed the engine, prepped the engine bay for paint, prepped the car for primer, started to prep the car for paint, stripped all the parts on the car and got them powder coated, re-built everything that has come off the car, re-done all the brake lines, fitted new front brakes, worked the front bumper so it fits properly, stripped the interior and removed all sound deadening, cut the spare wheel well out, got the car rady for new undereal and stonechip e.t.c... I have done most of this stuff alone, though Tom has helped with quite a few things. It's also not like I work on this car every day - could get it done in about 4 weeks if I had the time and money. So please a) read the whole post and b) understand what you're talking about before making stupid comments kid.

It's going to be fibreglass and have no vents because it was easier to remove the heating than to try and re-fit it. It's not going to have much on it. A digi dash and a few buttons. Debating weather to flock it or paint it though. Need to decide what's going to look best with leather...
