yeah get a metal chain wheel but instead of chroming it make it rusty and laquer or clear powder coat it

I think it looks sweet it's not over powering cause it's not constantly on view I would stick with it.

I wouldn't do any more though any more and you will over kill it

The interior is such a massive weak spot for this car. Sort that lout and your onto a winner imo.

Jamie, they are Mk1 Astra steel arches. The originals were binned and these welded on and smoothed in.

jimmy i saw your car at the Pod but didnt see you..car was lookin good mate..if you WAS around you wouldve only seen my Neck downwards as i was admiring that mean machine under the "rusty" bonnet !!

i remember seeing your corsa in fast car and thinking "NOW THATS WHAT IM CHATTING ABOUT!!" Looked so cool in that shoot its unreal!!

Loving that dish on your Rims!! i wana get myself some seriously Deep dishes but not sure if they will fit my arches lol

Had a joint feature done with a couple of other cars last Thurday. And what a location, Telford Motor Spares! Had a good time meeting some new people and a massive laugh at a McDonalds in Telford with Jacko, Jono and Si.

Did a couple of 'choice' mods especially for the shoot, one inspired by Jono, cheers dude!

Update: 26/8/08

Quite a big update this time!

Firstly, i've sold on the banded steel wheels. Although they are sold, the new owner is letting me keep them till my new wheels arrive!

The next thing is, its back in the bodyshop. Its getting a few repairs done, such as the sideskirts and the spoiler that has cracks. But while its there, its having the front number plate recess smoothed off and the ariel is also disappearing!

Oh, and did i mention its changing colour......

Got it inside and started taking it to bits while Phil started on the number plate recess.

Thats as far as we got today. More updates to follow tomorrow.
