It looks kind of like the bit of metal that numberplates screw into on Corsa B's to me.
I found something similar in a bag with some speakers I bought.

think im gonna try and see how the vid is mounted ontop on my interior mirror next , will be abit more stealthy there too ..
and a little clip from a nice steady drive out today

I came across a great road just now to use the camera on Shame I didn't have it on me
Not amazing positioning but here is one I did Friday. Need to find a better place/angle as this was inbetween the head rest and seat with the USB cable jammed underneath because the gap was too big

got one of me riding home on the zx6. just to test t, then a scooby wanted a race...so have headshot of 140 at 14000rpm....dont think its suitable for youtube

Went out for a spin today, most of it uneventful. Came across a scooby but due to traffic and the roads we were on couldn't really play around. This is with the camera mounted on the rear view mirror, you get a reflection of the dash but other than that it's pretty good:

you will need a big card for it, i tried with a 1gb card and it ran out of space very quickly, otherwise i very good buy for what it is
