bought alex w's old engine tonight, had yet more problems with this engine, wont go into too much detail but regarding metal from 3 day old recon head smashing piston and damaging bores.

top bloke and he even delivered it to me!








one cylinder head for sale if anyone is interested?

manged to clean all the little particles out of the sump tonight aswell.



plans are quick rebuild.

rings
oil pump
water pump
belt
paint
fit with new head and HOPEFULLY we may be sorted.

will post pics up of old engines bores to show the damage.

i believe its the sport head but they are more or less the same , wont make a blind bit of difference what bottom end it is.

It was a good head too, I'd suggest doing the stem seals on it as always. I'll do them for a few quid too.
