I just couldnt get into that... It was either that or the other clint one. I'd watched one, then just couldnt face the other one. Too long and dry at the time.

Hurt Locker was very good.

Rewatched 'Black Hawk Down' recently - think that is a great movie.

Lions for Lambs - I get the message its giving but fuck me what a shite open ending 6/10

DeathWish 1 - the acting and camerawork is funny compared to todays stuff 6/10 The guy from The Fly and those old Heinakin adverts plays one of the thugs

A Man Apart Vin Diesel (how do you spell his last name? like the fuel ) 4/10 - He's as good as a cardboard cut out, and his voice is terrible for the monolgue that have over some of the scenes - drone drone drone drone

Going to watch Doomsday this evening I think.

Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - has aged really well 8/10
The Other Guys - me and the Mrs both enjoyed it 7/10
Perfect Storm - seen it a couple of times now, probably a bit longer than it needs to be but I've always thought it was alright 6/10
I Am Number Four - enjoyed it but felt like it didn't know if it wanted to be a full blown kids film or not 7/10
Death Race - usual sort of Jason Statham film, easy to watch 6/10
Let Me In - thought this was good, want to see the original now 8/10

seen paranormal activity last night, what a let down.

2nd was best by far, they seem to have been dragged out too long now imo and it looks like another will be made.

Doomsday

Fucking awesome Its not actually great but I watched without thinking to myself 'why am i bothering to watch this'

far fetched sci-fi'ish film set in glasgow for the mainpart. Cross between MadMax (crazy savages in cars etc and thunderdome type scenes with canibalisim, pole dancers and guys in kilts doing the can-can) and a bit of Brave Heart / Medieval shit thrown in.

Its not great but it was watchable

Rhona Mitra isnt bad either - maybe nae so great when shes taking her eye in and out though!

Some good music too.

Re-watched Akira and also My neighbour Totoro, both of which are great Anime's.

Real Steal - 8/10 - really good watch, really felt myself getting into the film, a bit predictable and very rocky like but other than the great film!

Easy A - 2/10 Worst film I've seen in a long time, funny for the wrong reasons, no laugh out loud moments, predictable. Kind of like Glee but without the music. Only gets 2/10 because there's one scene with a glimpse of side boob

I Am Legend - 6/10 - Rushed start with not enough explained, middle seemed to drag on too long then they rushed the ending. Had potential to be better than what it was.

I didn't think that was as good as it could have been. They were on about doing I am Legend 2 at one point. Not sure how when they killed off the main man.

Never let me go - sounds shit and soppy but was actually pretty good, just don't read the back of the DVD case of it ruins it! 8/10

The Mechanic - typical Statham, not the best acting but loads of action - 7/10

Resident Evil : Afterlife

Worse than Apocalypse (didn't mind Extinction!) Why they didn't follow the storylins of the games I do not know.

Still, Milla Jovovich!

Slow, boring, and didn't capture me in the slightest. I get they wanted to get you intruiged and make you curious, but I just wanted something to happen. Then it was all over in the space of about 5 minutes. Not for me.

It was showing the non-holywood side of what being a hitman would be like, lonely, boring, tedious and fraught with fear/paranoya. Plus lots of bangers. Great film.

The King's Speech - wasn't as good as the hype IMO, it was good, but not that good.
