Van gaal will bring in at least one. De Vrij looks decent.

Wasn't that guy retweeting Goal articles? I'll wait and see what happens...

I'm surprised that you would make that link tbh. A modern day footballing genius and the PL's best ever player they are not. But great players none the less!
Certainly not straight away but they have the potential to be

playing out of position and pretty exhausted from a full season with us with no break, a lot of pressure and expectation (which he clearly doesn't enjoy)

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/worldcup/brazil-vs-germany-world-cup-2014-in-defence-of-mesut-ozil--the-arsenal-midfielder-works-magic-in-the-shadows-9592794.html

Great article on Ozil, which is very similar to what we saw with Arsenal. He creates so much space by just distracting people, you notice it so much when he's not there. He needs a powerful ball playing presence behind him and pace and variation in front of him, both of which were missing for large periods last season. having to adjust from having the likes of Di Maria, Benzema, Ronaldo and Alonso etc. to Arteta, Giroud and Podolski will also have affected his game.

Next season we'll hopefully have a top holding player allowing Ramsay to get forward and pace/versatility ahead of him with Walcott and Sanchez. Bodes well

Good heavens, no. Ozil is of the highest calibre, but he wasn't born a footballing genius like Bergkamp. He is a clever player, but that's like comparing a scientist to a rocket scientist.

Vidal getting closer, El mercurio reporting in quite some details about the United doctor communicating directly with Chile to find out the state of his knee injury. 61m dollars plus nani reported. Juventus have said he's not for sale but that offer would make them Consider.

Interview with vidal on Chilean TV, says he wouldn't rule anything out and when asked that he'd love to play in England, and for the the biggest club in the world

Starting to believe this might actually be arturON

He said anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, but it doesn't mean he will. Would be an outstanding signing though. Easily the best in the world at what he does.

Mangala is done, £32M and a announcement early this week. Lot of money for a 23 year old.

Di Maria close to joining PSG. They have no respect for FFP, ruining football like Chelsea

Is it? Maybe a few years younger, and certainly nearing 30 I'd say its a lot. Unless it was someone very special. But at that age he is maturing with plenty of years ahead of him.

Got to hope he becomes the player we hope he will but that's always a gamble, Michael Johnson for example, so much potent ion but went off the rails because of injury. Richards stalled and loot at Nani and Andreson. Always a gamble IMHO.

It is a gamble aye. But I think he will thrive.
Siem de Jong made a vice captain at Newcastle?

Just read this, apparently alongside Tiote. He had been Ajax captain for a few season so hopefully he can use some of that experience to help the squad.

All fair and well, but its a slap in the face to those who have been long serving influential players surely?

"Suposedly" Kroos, Di Maria and now Robben have turned down offers.
