UPDATE:

17th November 2008

I haven't had a camera for the past couple of weeks but the FORGE FMIC is fitted to the Fabia (pics soon) And this morning its new Turbo Turbo up

Its a Allard VT2 (Based on the GARRATT PD130 Turbo and reworked so it can flow enough air for up to 225bhp) my standard Turbo is a KKK.

And also this arrived... And EGR Valve blanking kit.

Planning to fit the bits next weekend so watch this space... lol

No, im afraid the money I had ready to spend on the Corsa has just gone on the Fabia

Unfortunetely the Fabia needed the money on it first... Not that it needed a bigger Turbo though... Just thought if im going to the effort of buying a new one... Might as well make it a goodun

UPDATE:

22nd November 2008

Lots to report. Firstly the car got vandalised last weekend (4 slashed tyres and a scratch down the whole of one side

hence the steel wheels on her for the time being).

I've temperally took the car off the road for a week or two to fit all the tasty new bits i've got.

First off Turbo removal...

Inlet manifold & inlet pipe are covered in black soot from the blowing exhaust manifold

EGR and Anti shudder valve which are being replaced with a piece of pipe

Finally a few pics of my FORGE FMIC that I fitted 2 weeks ago

You can see the crack in the Exhaust manifold in this pic

And some pics of the damage down the passenger side

4 punctured tyres with the new ones ready to fit

Inlet manifold covered in soot (going to get these cleaned out as there full of a mixture of oil & soot)

Brought some of this on good recommendation so we'll see if it does anygood once the cars mapped

One sooted up bulkhead because of the leak

I know mate. I was gutted! Only parked it up for a few hours on the side of the road

Manifold I can live with.... good excuse for an upgrade

STEALTH Racing will be mapping it. Can't wait!!! Got to get an Exhaust made up first though...

I know what its like to have a car vandalised, really does take the piss - my tyres were fine, but pretty much every panel on the car was badly keyed instead.

You going to be cleaning up the bulkhead best you can?

UPDATE:

4th December 2008

Had the day off work today to try and get the Turbo and bits fitted on the Fabia as I need it for work next week.

Collected the Inlet manifold and Inlet pipe which had been cleaned out by a local company

Had a plug made up so im no longer re-circulating the Rocker cover breather into the inlet (will vent to atmosphere instead)

Fitted my EGR replacement pipe

Picked up my wheels with fresh YOKO Parada's fitted

Fitted the EGR Blanking plate on the new Turbo

All ready to fit Turbo

Turbo Torqued into position

Inlet Manifold ready to go on

And fitted... Along with new Stainless Boost hose to replace standard plastic one

And that was as far as I got today. Now awaiting a nice piece of 90degree reducing Samco to turn up tomorrow to connect the pipes together with.

Onto a friends car... You might remember seeing the Turbo for this engine a few pages back

Well the engines now fitted (3.3 R32 Lump with major internal work)

This is potentially a 10sec 1/4 mile, 200mph Bora (its actually geared for 220 if it had the power)

Its going to look pretty much stock (apart from the wheels and R32 Brakes) and have full interior.

No mate, there both off the road. Mine hasn't seen the road yet (ran out of money) and the Van lost oil pressure so is in need of some TLC before next years shows.
