Whenever i've got a refund from shops they always return the money same way I paid them.
If I paid by card they put the money back onto the card.
Jay - get your gf to pay it him with her paypal.

probably does, regardless im sure hell find away of using them against me so he can send me a postal order, it pretty obvious he isnt intending on using them to pay me back otherwise he wouldnt refuse then say yes say he has no money now he has

exactly what i was going to suggest, its up to you of course, its your money but just a thought as it pretty much seems he wont repay it back OR if he does 3 weeks down the line then someone else might be scammed in that time!

do what my mate does, If he gets fucked over on a website he digs as much dirt on the scammer and constantly badgers them via the forum, email, phone calls, letters etc. 9 times out of 10 he gets his money back

He says he has paid back 'every penny' so ensure you get the full amount, not just the £45.
