Anyone riding this weekend? I've done nothing this week apart from the commute. Got Swinley next weekend so going to get a few easy rides in after work

I think I'll be out in the morning, I've not been out since last Saturday and I'm in Luton for the rest of the weekend so it's my only opportunity. Just trying to find somewhere good to go.

I was riding around Hawley and Minley Saturday and came across a 10k 4hr enduro run by allabouttriathlons. Some of the guys looked like proper monsters and were even using single speed things, powering away with calves bigger than the trees.

Heading over there tomorrow night to ride the route. This now gives me 2 routes within 2 miles of home that I can ride, the other in Minley that Gorrick used in August for an enduro.

I have taken the adjustable straps off my pedals and just left the holder which goes over your shoe, i've much preferred it that way and atleast I can still get my foot out quickly!

I am definatley going to get some SPD's though..

Did the enduro race at Swinley today. Really good fun. Hadn't done a race in the format of timed stages before so wasn't sure what to expect. There were 5 stages which were timed, the longest only being a mile or so. Then you had to ride to the next section, so rode 17miles total. Distance was small but when you hammer it sold through each section still pretty knakering, especially in the loose muddy ground. Really friendly marshalls and other riders, good stuff!

I went for a ride yesterday morning out towards Bulbarrow Hill near Blandford. Went with my mates dad so was a pretty steady ride.

View from the top of Bulbarrow Hill was amazing. We were above a cloud!

Cant really tell from this pic but behind the bush is cloud

Also looks like the guy I was with has a stonking erection (look at the shadow)
