Iv got a few old cars and my MOT tester always gives them an advisory for 'oil leak' yet i can never find one

Bar my MX5 which was pissing oil out the crank seal down the front of the engine yet he passed that with no advisories

So yea MOT testers .........

In terms of the cav though I'd be happy with that MOT on a old car like that, nothing serious. What is it now must be touching 30 years old?

28 years old mate

Nic - downpipe got a kink in it its the one that came with the engine, always planned to replace it, then made a home made exhaust to get it on road and it jsut never got done

Stripped - still needs some work to remove sound deadenning - the cause is water getting in the footwells

Will get the hose on it next week

So the jobs undertaken....

Welded up a fair few holes in floor - all done properly
Cleaned off any underseal in effected areas
Rust proofed all over
Red oxide primered effected areas
Seam sealed effected areas
Sound deadennes inside
Re undersealed whole car
Replaced lower wishbones
Replaced track rod ends
Proper bulbs in headlamps

Jobs to do:
Banded steels
suspension kit
Turbo back exhaust
Build false floor for amps in boot
New rear seatbelt - billing?
Fix fogs
Fix fuse box cover
Fix under dash trims
Pressed plates
Fit new gear gator
Remove mig and pvs stickers
Botton half wrapped satin black
Wash....

Obviously all this wont be done by pvs but meh

Torn between keeping it and buying an rx7 atm

Lol i know i know, was cruising yesterday and loved it, always wanted an rx7 aswell though.... Getting block paving 88 square meters of the fucker so it will have to stay for now

Gave the car a clean so its ready for pvs












Also did the gaiter - £4 well spent

Removed toms pvs and mig stickers then added my own tat




Decided ill probably keep it and get a spax adjustable -50mm kit, 3 inch turbo back exhaust and then have the arch lips painted ( they were flaking and strting to rust, ao i dressed them back, anti rusted and matt blacked... Not ideal but you cant tell so will do for now....) paint job is shit anyways and really annoys me

Orange peel, dry spots, runs.... Its not up to standard which makes me laugh as in these pics it looks perfect.... Yet people call my M3s which was 10x better lol
