think he must be decent as we had him all signed and sealed up in Jan to be the striker we needed and then they upped the price and AW baulked

He said a week ago he wants the move to West Ham sown up quickly, so who knows what to believe on that front.

It's alright. Liverpool will only pay £1 now, then £1 every day for the next 3 years followed by £1bn if they win the PL. They always do right in the transfer market
