Didn't ride this weekend. Had a wedding 
Feeling it now. Body always feels shit come Monday/Tuesday if I haven't ridden. DH or XC.
Hopefully get out Wednesday for a night ride.

I managed about 40 miles over the weekend. Was meant to do a time trial on Sunday, rode out to the race hq and there was only 8 blokes doing it all with spare bikes in turbo trainers warming up. I turned round and ride home

Definitely think my knees are going to explode. Battled all the way to work in crap weather sat down now can hardly stand up. Failure. Think I will spend my breaks today reading up on stretching exercises.

They have some major logging work going on in peaselake which has shut a couple of trails, plus parking has been reduced because of it. Also there trail maintanance going on in some parts.

I seem to have missed out on the post ride banter.
The first 'Athletes and Pro's on Tour' event went well with only two falls and plenty of good hearted banter.
Doug's Angry Mate rage quite the event after the first 6 miles, staying true to his normal form.
I did end up pushing a few hills on the second lap. Not proud but it was only my 8th ride out so the fitness just wasn't there yet
Although on two occasions I did beat Nic 'The Hill Master' Barnes up a hill!

Maybe towards the end of April?
It would be nice if we could get together for a group ride once every month or two!
