Until you get your student loan?

Sick of it, I've worked since I left school when I was 16, I've been working 5 years and being paying tax all that time, I dread to think how much tax has gone to fucking lazy arse students like you to go and piss up the wall.

I am really fcuked off with it.

Get a job, pay taxes, then you will feel the same as me when you see some twat like yourself gloating about spending your student loan on your car.

erm, it's a student LOAN - none of your tax goes towards it - it's all gotta be paid back - low interest is the only plus side of it. the clue is in the loan bit...

Does the government not pay the loans out though? If they do surely thats my PAYE, national insurance, VAT, Duty on fags beer and petrol that I hand over each month. Not only that but by the time the loan is fully repaid ie - 9 odd yrs down the line the pound is worth less than when loan was given due to inflation. ( sorry but I am an accountant!!!!! )

hmm, not too sure on that one, but if me old memory serves me correctly, the student loans company are owned, or were owned by lloyds or somebody - they took it over about 5/6 years ago. i'd assume in this case that they wouldn't have done it if they didn't make money from it. anyways, it's a bit besides the point; i'm happy to pay my taxes to fund education - it is a right, not a privelige.

thats total anus - i just finnihsed my degree, i didnt waste any of my loan, i am however in 10k of debt and my folks have had to pay for alot more than the goverment have, so you can stick your student bashing comments into your opinionates ringpice.

i am sick of people thinking we get a free ride, if we were in scotland or other countries where they would value educated people as a valuable comodidty for sociecty then we would have got alot more free money.

anyway i am now a hopefully qualified internet engineer, if u know any jobs that need this skill tell me eh?

nice one
