This is madness, I have just been searching around for quotes on a Civic 1.6 LSI Coupe Grp10 insurance. Quoted £1500 F/C with Liverpool Victoria and thats with the agreement of "Any modification made to the car, except one that changes engine capacity, is covered for a like for like replacement without any increase premium upon declaration of the mods"
Thought that was alright, but if I only have to pay another £500 for an RX7 it makes me think that I am prehaps getting screwed with this deal.

BTW I'm 19 with 2 years NCB, 1 accident claim yet it was settled through insurance with the other party admitting fault, and I have 1 SP30. Seems unfair to me..........

Makarus - try Norwich Union. I'm basically in the same boat as you...19, 2 years NCB (incl. pass plus). Was quoted £1325 on a civic coupe 1.6 Lsi a few months ago FC.

Well when I had my first NCD they still took into account my PP so I basically had 2 NCD.
