why bother? fine corsa's are nice and can be fast, but end of day, you'll have traction problems etc.. etc.. insurance must cost a fair amount if u declare the power etc.. but a scooby sti, just under 280bhp standard, can get them for a nie price nowadays, no problem with traction and can get a few more horsies cheap and reliably easily.

I think the scoob turbos MY95-97 are now in the price range of 5-9k

I recently priced a few up as I was considering getting 1 for an everyday motor.

end of the day id love a 300bhp corsa, but for me it way off limits tbh ive wasted enough on my car, and im now seriously thinking going jap next year and selling the corsa.

But then again, sell the corsa, buy a cheap gsi turbo that just cant decide

Or just build a 300bhp Corsa 4x4
Stays Vauxhall so parts are cheap and will be as quick if not quicker then most jap cars.

Gibbs, scooby insurance is ridicuals, most compainies wont touch u if your under 25.
My LET insurance quotes have been more than reasnable. Around £1k FC

Im not a big fan of japaneese cars if im honest, my corsa is almost exactly how i like it. You cant just go and buy one off the shelf, its big enuff its small enough and parts are cheap enough
