First of all don't call me luv, sweetheart, and second of all coming from the country myself I am well aware of what happens on a hunt and is disgusting. No living creature should have to be hunted down for miles and ripped to pieces.

Quick, let's ban lions, tigers, cheetahs, panthers, and about every other predatory animal in the wild......they do the same.

Anyway, not keen on foxes myself......can't beat a good duck, they go nicely in a black bean sauce!

not enough "outsiders"are educated on the matter well enought to base a realistic opinion!
and the countrysides been doin just fine being looked after by generations of these ppl for hundreds of years,so way change it now!!!

sorry but telling someone to stop fox hunting is not the same as telling someone to change religion. you are a complete fool and I fart in your general direction.

outside people only have to see the fact that you are chasing a fox with the intend of killing it for fun. thats all they need to see. like I said before if it was all about the riding and the social aspects then they would not get upset about the banning

you cannot rehome a hound ito becoming a "pet"
its cruel for the animal
unless maybee farmers took them on, but u still wouldnt let them run free as there natural killer instinct would come in???

this argument could go on forever as there a 3 types of ppl here

people who know something valuable
people who know jack shite
and people like vibrio who think they know it all, and will take the defensive in responce to anything constructive ever said on the subject!

people like vibrio know it is cruel to chase an animal to the point of exhaustion and then kill it by letting dogs rip it apart. you cannot justify this cruel and barbaric sport. I have no problem with horses and dogs running about fields - I have a problem with the pointless and utterly barbaric death of an animal.

the farmers protect their own flocks. if a fox is worrying their animals I have no problem with them shooting it.

Ross, your in the biology profession, i totally agree with you on the fox hunting thing but where do you stand on using animals for the testing of medicines and advancement of drugs to help humans?

MMMM

tis a ahrd topic but i live in the country and my family own land, my grandparents ahve a farm, i work on a farm and my girlfriends dad owns 3000 acres!

i see no problem with it, its just a way to legislate it, it will continue for ages i know that.
My dads aunt is the head of the local hunt and nothing will stop them, at the end of the day this means we have more shooting to do and sometime we miss and get the back of the fox so goes off in pain, with the dogs the fox is dead in a matter of seconds for sure!!

don;t like it to be honest and I certainly would not atually kill the animal but I don;t have any problem in using the parts. some research I do think is not required
