Bolts at the side and in the engine bay, bottom of the windscreen.

has anyone found out if a morette with one lense removed weighs less than a standard headlight yet?

yes.... lots, my lenses have a 5" round bit of glass and a thin plastic backing, outer case is about 2mm thick plastic and weighs about as much as a fag packet (full)

normal headlight must weigh 3 times what mine do

i'll weigh them one day

depends, impact resistant polycarbonate will weigh only slightly less per square metre due to its thickness and the fact that it has to be strong, but yeah, it will weigh a little less

like broster says, its the fact that you can get rid of the mechanisms in the doors that save the weight
