***BIG UPDATE TODAY***
FInally had a bit of time to get cracked on with things today. Spent at least 3-4 mins putting the car on axle stands. Definately makes the car look a lot higher than usual. Might try & do some more tomorrow, Im too tired after all todays work

I actually did something tonight
Swept up the millions of bits of glass that went everywhere after the window removal incident. Also got rid of the remainder of the window sealwhich was a right pain in the arse. Cut myself lots
Took off rear suspension on both sides & removed the rear beam.
Also sprayed a bit of Gunk onto the horrible arch liner stuff
Bodge of the day goes to me for forgetting to disconnect the brake flexies before dropping the rear beam. Stanley knife through the rubber bit soon sorted this out

Doing some more tonight. 3 days in a row
Could do with a bit of help though, stripping the arch sealant stuff off & its coming off but not very well
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=353732
Spent about an hour on it so far & not a lot has come off. If there's any useful tips I could do with them as its a stinker of a job!

I sat under my arches for god knows how long scraping away with gasket scrapers!! Heat it up first with a heat gun, the it comes off well! Wire brush tends to make it very messy.

They are probably the same as the 3M Scotch wheels I used to take the rust and crap off of my car. Get yourself to a bodyshop type place and get a load. They'll be cheaper than the Halfords ones I think I used the blue ones...

Then a wire brush attatchment on a drill will polish up the metal nice and clean after - the Scotch wheels can't really get into seams and things...
You having no underseal on it at all?

Still undecided
Its going to be garaged all the time except for when I use it, so it won't be in the rain etc.
Plus its easy enough to underseal it all afterwards. So Im going to have it all painted up & decide at a later date
