yeah, 06 plates are well over £20K. thought they were cheaper .

Can get an older one for around 16-17, but looks too bland .

For me there would be no questions in it, everyone says running costs ect... blah blah blah but im sure it would just be the same as the vxr and it would be more fun, it wins in every area for me over the VXR.

wouldn't get the subaru becuase of the repuation and shite interior

VXR - not keen on at all

For thta money there is alot of cars tempting such as M3 (51 - 02plate), r32's even new type golf gti's etc

Yes the subaru is fast and good around track etc but at the expense of interior qulity etc

For that money I would not feel happy with the interior.

If your happy spending that money on car there are many avenaues to go down

Sensible one will be the Focus RS as they will hold value and you will not lose out

Subarus have flooeded market so either the Scooby or the VXR you stand to lose alot of money on

For that money I would also consider 350z, Rx8 etc even a TT but not to everyones taste

Reputation If your going to say owned by chav's hold your breath, its bigger pish than someone saying a TT's a hairdressers car!!

I think personally having owned one the interiors are very well put together, seats are comfy & everythings where it should be on the dash

I kind of agree about the interior on Subaru's. Dont know if its built well or not but it looks naff.

And thats where you spend 100% of the time so is an important part to me.

Interesting coming from a corsa owner pmsl

There's nothing wrong with the subaru interior, people who slate them have usually never even been out in one tbh.

getting boring hearing that. yada yada yada

just cos I own a Corsa means my opinion doesn't count at the time I got my Corsa its all I could afford, if I could of gone out and bought something with a nicer interior then I would but wasn't an option

The shape of the dash is nicer and doesn't look as plasticy. Looks alot more upmarket.

The seats in that TT are a bloody awful colour

edit - you've taken the pics away

Interior is a very important part of a car for me too. Id go so far to say in terms of quality the @ corsa owners is kinda unjustified. They are both cheap and plasitky. Thats not a dig at anyone, i own neither, i like subaru's but am under no impression the interior is luxurious or stunningly attractive.

They have improved alot in recent years though.

The problem with threads like these is that everyone forgets what an opinion is, its something that is individual and different.

People consider many different factors when buying a car, the things person A looks for will be tottally different to person B. Doesnt make either right, just different.

To voice my opinion id say the wisest investment is the focus RS. If it holds money (extremely rare factor in a car) then id go for that, especially if you plan to buy a house.

The rest vxr, scoob etc etc will all loose money like there is no tommorow

I took the pics away because I was worried that's not actually an audi tt interior because it looked so gash and very plasticy

If you want leather and comfort, then don't buy a subaru with buckets, etc. I would've thought that went without saying. But, the subaru hardly has a "cheap" interior.

yes its just my IMO

The interior just seems less up market and plastics are not as nice

Not saying they are owned by Chavs but I just think they have a bad repuatation similar to how people judge BMW drivers etc

I'm noit saying a TT is better than a subaru but it was just my opinion

this is my interior and I;m not saying its the best but looks and feels more upmarket then the scooby

i know its just my opinion and yes I have driven one and own the TT so I can make a comparisson

Thats not to say the Subrau is a bad car by any means just 17k is alot of money to throw at a car and do not be pulled into the fact its has to be nearly new as if your willing to get an older car it opens different avenues to look at

RS is still best choice IMP from a money point of view

TBH its getting boring seeing people waffle on saying Imprezas are crap/chav/slow/cheap, and my favourite, I'd rather have an Evo. Yet aren't in a position to pick one or the other or to make the stupid ignorant comments they make.

Think you need to read what I wrote again.

I said I think the interior is naff which is personal preference, dont need to have owned one to make that comment surely

I didn't mention that an Impreza was crap/chav or slow. Thanks
