I've been looking around at replacement cars (VTS's and Punto GT's) and most are looking pretty toss around the 2k marker so I'm umming and arring now lol, if only my Corsa was a little bit more powerful I know I'll miss it when it goes lol

Ad, I took your advice Last pic on the old rims and with smoked lights... the black wheels should look loads nicer when fitted!!

I'm also gonna debadge her at some point as the wheels have opel badges.. they do indeed look a bit more euro so debadging will help smooth things out.. new plates going on without the GB/euro sign and bloody screws too lol

HELP ME GUYS!!!

I've done a more accurate photoshop of the wheels a bit more to size and how the car sits with the front end raised and I'm actually now thinking I might be better off keeping the silver wheels?? I can't decide! They just look a bit more agressive but not as smooth.. if the car was lower the black ones would look spot on but I'm almost done spending on the corsa now so dont wanna change suspension AGAIN.

ARGH!! lol opinions please:

All I know is if I don't I'll always wish I did.. lol

Alternatively I could paint mine grey or something... but some angles they look a bit "chavvy" rather than smooth and subtle.. grr! lol

Alternatively keep mine and paint them gunmetal or similar... the problem with the vectra cdx wheels is they're running "fullrun" tyres... cheap nasty jobs and I've got Yokohamas on mine and I cant be arsed swap tyres over all the time as this'd be my 4th set of wheels.

different angle idea

could look quite good ^^^

So might just keep what I've got and stop buying stuff I don't really need or I'll never have enough money buy a new car lol

Mark yeah thats what I'm thinking, even me old dear was like "your silver wheels look dead nice when your moving" haha...

so yeah I've decided against black.. been camping this weekend my car looked DECKED! pic below lol.. the tigra wheels looked really good! bit more agressive and I wanna keep my yokos, they're really good for what I paid.. gonna get some steelies or cheapo 3 spokes to maybe practise on and then if all good, paint these tigra ones gunmetal I think

Chris yours looks nice on them rims looked at your motor a few times for ideas/inspiration

excuse my missus and mate but added to the effect lol

Finally have a red car once again! Decided to debadge the bootlid too as fed up of 1.4's trying race all the time, it's boring now lol Had it mopped to get the colour back and then polished/waxed to get it nice and shiney so its lots better.

So yep finally my car looks way more presentable, just need keep on polishing it to keep the red, well, red!

1st page updated with latest specs and what not.

Few piccies:

Well I just used some money and paid someone haha. Used rotary polisher on it to cut the paint right back then polish and wax. I asked what he recommends and he says just boggo turtle wax is very cost effective. I aint spending loads on cleaning products for an old car.

So assume he used turtle wax for the polish and that.. looks nice though just need keep on top of it now

Bit of an old/new comparison kinda...

Quite happy with the looks actually, pretty much done there now, not budgeting much more on this motor
