how u get it out in the 1st place? i haven't really looked @ mine, but its summin i wna do.. fort u had to take the whole dash off..

take the two vents out then there are two screws behind mate

You don't need to take the vent out, just push in and down, then you have room to get into the screws.

the new sill wont fall off its welded in place and before it was the old rusted one was covered in underseal

Its a L Reg Merit, yes? It doesnt have heater bulb lights, only sports & gsi's had them iirc.

big problem for some reason the wiring going to the heater panel lights doesnt work can anyone tell me which fuse it is or what could be wrong with it cheers

new mods punto wiper conversion

and newer style rocker cover and gasket look at the state of the old one lol
