tried that last night but it dont, I got a new little bolt thing for the temp as I think the other dont work, think thats why it never kicked in so I will just fit it tonight and test it again.

New temp sensor for the radiator?
Worth testing the fan aswell by bridging together the wires you take off of that plug and turning the ignition on. the fan should then come on if the engine is hot or cold

The fan works off the fan switch. The little thing is the sender for the dash. Big round thing with a plug into it thats on one side of the rad.

The sender for the temp guage is next to the thermostat on the XE mate.
Little blue spade connector slides onto it

Gavin should be * then lock. which should be top right key i think.

18 its just to give me an in site to what its like, all the courses are booked up so i have to wait a year unless i find someone to take me on without going to college which is unlikely
