whenver you see aftermarket HID set ups for sale on ebay etc you get to choose what colour you prefer what colour would best replicate this colour changing effect off the bmws/audis etc ??

lastly what makes the light appear to actually change colour depending on what angle you are facing the car ??

all to do with the colour temp in Degrees Kelvin

4300k is OE colour, thats what i have, IMO 6k and 8k are to blue and a lil chavy IMO tho

projector lences chance the color from diff angels

must admitt the link to the £50 ebay set looks worth considering, anyone else any knowlege off this particular HID set up ??

take it that replacment bulbs for HID kits are commonly enough available and that if one bulb should go you will be able to still purchase them even if your particular HID kit is no longer produced ie will one bulb ft to another HID kit ??

beecause if your not using projector lenses, the light just gets spread out with the design of normal headlights distributing the light like this.

you can make it better by adjusting the beam, but the beam cant be concentrated enough with normal lenses

I've got H7 8K kit from HIDs Direct on Ebay - Cost me £100.

One bulb blew last month though!! But they've replaced it F.O.C and it's all working fine again now. Vision is awesome though

So whats the difference between xenon and Bi-xenon?

Im guessing that Bi-xenon used the HID output for both main beam and high beam?

Also Dave are your Kits capable of this? Would be a bit rubbish if you had HID then put ur main beam on and got a dull yellow light
