Babel should of had a hatrick...had one ruled offside when it def wasnt, and hit the bar with a clear chance. Crouch had another great chance, and Voronin had one or two chances too.
Everyone came in their pants when Arsenal scored 7, I wonder if it will even get a mention in the paper tomorrow about how good a football we played.

Everyone played well other than Riise IMO. I like Riise a lot, but his form this season has been shocking and I think its going to be his downfall with him leaving in Jan, or at best the summer, unless he really pulls something special out the bag.
Babel played great when he came on - as a forward as I have been saying he should be since he joined. Would love to see him and Torres upfront together, not sure how they'd play together but the pace of them both would make defenders shit scared.
Kewell looks like a new signing aswell...keeping him fit is a must. As is keeping Masch in the team, MOTM for me.

Only noticed him (riise) shooting from distance twice, didn't really see him do much else wrong tbh (had a chance at some poitn in second half aswell but from memory him not getting a shot in wasn't his fault?)
Was talking about riise last week after match, he's a red through and through which is always good to have but he needs to up his game a bit.
That move for gerrards goal that macherano started was awesome
So nice to see them playing with confidence after the first 3, trying little flicks etc. That's something you will see players who are not getting rotated do more (displaying confidence) imo.
babbel got in some good positions, he's looked wasteful a few times (past few games) but I reckon he could settle in, and if he gets a few games in there he will get in better positions aswell, I've noticed him caught the wrong side of a defender a few times and mistiming a few runs.
Hopefully we can see kewell figure in alot of games now and test him out again

Thing is Liverpool didn't play THAT brilliant, just average football really but Besiktas played that awful it made it look better.

I'd give them a little credit and say they played JUST above average
To score 8 in any game you have to play well, but as I said I have seen them play a better 90mins (against Chelsea for one) and not get that sort of result.
