it will be staying for now, i paticulary like the amount of overspray from when i painted inside and didnt mask up...........hehe

gonna let people rip on it with paint also if htey want for a laugh, just nothing abusive.......made some good rpogress today, should have good update tomorrow!! fingers crossed

get all off ur left over basecoats, base a bit up in each odd colour then laquer the whole lot, multi coloured car

boost is ok now, think it will be perfect once i fit vxr turbo, front mount and other little bits and peices!

insurance didnt come through for me to get tax, so not driven it hardly, does seem fun tho, its ace it looking so rough also, will get some pics up tomorrow!

good work Iaz. what mapping you going to go for once vxr turbo is fitted and front mount? dont suppose you have a low mileage turbo you want to sell do you, pm me if you want

going for phase 3.5 mate, i will have the turbo off this engine to sell, which has done 26k miles as far as i know, seems to pull well and no smoke etc!

My mate has phase 3.5 on his gsi and it produced 312bhp and 370ftlb of torque, dont think you'll be disapointed!

ummmmmmmm, i will be well happy if i get that, running that power in totallsy stripped out van should be fast.

the large universal one, 63ml pipe kit and a 51ml - 63 90degree bend to go over the turbo to take it to same size as the intercooler pipes!

just need to get pipes for the 80mm afm for when i get that and new air filter for that also..... my air filter has seen much beta days!

gonna ring blue flame about an exhaust maybe tomorrow

dont fit the airflow meter before getting it mapped otherwise she'll run a bit lean

yea just getting all the bits ready, ordered injectors and afm today!

intercooler yesterday

got vxr turbo ready to go on, just need to get the cooling mod cos dont wanna wreck my turbo once its fitted! also next big thing is sorting an exhaust!

have been on bit of spending spree last few days:--

bought and ordered:-

de catted down pipe part
blue flame exhaust
large front monut intercooler
universal front mount pipe kit
reducer 90degree bend to come off the turbo
80ml afm
vxr injectors
scan gauge computer thing
1.9cdti air box
cooling mod from vauxhall to help turbo

think thats it for now, not many more parts to get then should have pretty much everything for stage 3.5!!! yay
