Wtf? I never mentioned piston rings you maybe mis heard us quoting Fast and the furious 'Now me and the mad scientist have to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings you fried'
Nah, dunno mate... to be honest I never believed the figures I got with it at Jamsport, Always thought it was slower than 160... more like 150 bhp...
Just didn't expect it to be 147 bhp. The cams are probably a bit old now, maps old etc... probably do with a remap ... I've had cams + map on the car a good 2 years ago or so, so probably doesn't 100% match the car as it is now, losing me a few bhp.
it hasn't felt quick to me for ages, I'd imagine it was that power when it did 14.8 1/4 mile. My mate nick with 160 bhp did 14.5 1/4 mile, so makes sense mine is less power than his, and I just think it never geniunely made that power at jamsport.
for example, 147 bhp + 123 lb ft of torque, compared to jamsports RR's claiming 160 bhp + 135 lb ft of torque
Ever since whenever I've said about 135 lb ft of torque people have said that sounds bollocks for single TB.
If my car's steering was 100% fine, I wouldn't really care about the 147 bhp ... as on track it's not all about all out power / straight line pace. But it's just I've gotta fix something possibly to do with bushes / steering rack / suspension strut related... not sure what, it still drives fine, just got a bit of a knock on turning sometimes and feels a bit like the trackings out.

150 or 160, whatever. peak figure is unimportant anyway, different RR readings will always be an issue, but its irrelevant really. The figures between your Jamsport results and todays are about 10%. Different tyre pressures can vary things that much in some caes.
find a good, repeatable dyno, get a figure and use that as a benchmark for future tuning. thats what dyno's are all about.
For your mods, the figures seem fine, post up a graph
