I love MV's! Those colours are by far the best for it!

Still injured and the MV creates to much pressure on his shoulders at the moment. He also thinks its too top heavy.

It'll be replaced with something exotic, no Ducatis though, they are too common Possibly another Benelli, either the RS or an 1130.

MVR has been recorded at 193mph, the fastest 1000cc bike on the market at the moment. His ahs seen nothing like that Im still waiting a ride (Weather)

A good first bike (if you've never ridden one before) would be something like a 400 like a Honda RVF 400 (NC-35) or if you want something that a little more sit up type you can't go wrong with a Suzuki Bandit 600 or a Suzuki SV 650.

This was my first road bike that i built.....

VXR, offer him a swap! Bandit and a pcket of Seabrook salt and vinegar crisps for the MV sounds fair!

BigDan. Its was (new owner wrote it off) a Bandit 600 with a Yamaha R6 subframe and seat conversion and a few other little bits.

Been looking more and more at bikes now

Turns out because I'm not 21 (in fact, turned 20 today ) I can't ride bigger than a 125.

Are these slow as hell? Worth bothering to learn to ride now, or just wait til this time next year when I'm 21 and do the direct access course?

Hmm, those Aprilias seem a little unreliable

Like the look of the Honda CBR125 side on, but front looks a bit wimpy.

Not really much choice in the 125 range is there....

Only if you don't look after them! Trouble is, 17 year olds just want to get on and rag them and forget about the oil, and when they do remember they stick cheap shit stuff in!

If you get one, best thing to do would be stick a new piston, ring, small end bearing and new barrel gaskets and put some good quality oil in and it'll be fine. Only take half a day at that to do that!

saw a guy come off one and practically rip his head off right in front of me, when i saw his eyes rolled back and blood coming from all holes on his face it put me off.

These bikes look well badass these days , bike versions of bat mobile

plus if you rev the tits off it at some high speeds dont just lift off, as theres then no oil feed and will seize up!!!

as i found out with my bigbored 72cc one, 15,000rpm plus no oil = dead engine

TBH not sure if I could be bothered mixing up two stroke oil anyway really - rather just fill it up and go.

Is it possible to have a slightly bigger big - say a 250 - restricted back to the output of a 125? Would that then be legal for someone under 21?

Most modern 2 strokes have a seperate oil tank so no mixing is neccersary, but if your under 21 and you do a full test anything under 33bhp you can ride. something like an xr250, or majority of bikes can be restricted to 33 bhp hope that helped

Did you recognise Creg-Ny-Ba?? The straight down to the pub and a 90 degree left had bend into another straight. Think they usually have a stand there.

So actually I don't need to limit myself to a 125 bike, I could go for a 250 or 400 so long as its pegged back to 33bhp. Interesting
