With the gearbox in place, and the nearside driveshaft connected, we prepared the block. First job was to replace the spigot bearing, that was nice and easy as dad had the correct puller. Then we assembled the flywheel and clutch. Anyway, after a lot of swearing, cups of tea and more swearing it went it!!! It didn't help that Sunday afternoon turned out to be tropical humidity, not what you want when your doing seriously heavy lifting and grafting in overalls!!!

Once the engine and box were in, we then managed to fit the starter motor, gear linkage (and set up the gears) and a bit of pipework around the back of the block.

A very cool project. Would love to do a project to this extent myself. But the amount of time/money it'd take must be un-real.

Just stuff like the starter motor etc all not just being new, but being re-painted etc to be better than. Superb attention to detail Love it.

because the nova sport came with an irmscher airbox for the cars and also that cam cover, they didnt allways just make styling bits
