Yeah i heard about them going blind. So cute though just dont see many about. Had one before i got lola (pictured) had to get her put down cause she had like 3 tumors. Horrible

That really isn't true! White boxers are not more prone to health problems than bridle or red boxers. They certainly aren't more prone to blindness either. There is no clinical evidence to back up either of these claims. They have a higher incidence of deafness (18%) but I know plenty of dogs who are deaf who go onto be incredibly good pets and boxers learn very quickly, whether they are deaf of not. . White boxers were actually the original colour of boxers, it was not until the outbreak of the 1st World War that it became clear that white was not the ideal colour for a dog used as a guard / patrol dog – to say they stood out like a sore thumb when it was dark would be an understatement!

We have a retired greyhound named Marnie, she's nearly 5 years old, and we got her from the Retired Greyhound Trust near Birmingham.

She is a great pet, and doesn't need much excercise, she spends most of the day asleep!

She doesn't like small dogs like Yorkshire Terriers and will go for them as well as any other small fluffy looking things like cats, squirrels, and so on.

I'm a big dog lover . I've got a 1 year old German Shepherd bitch and a 13 year old Yorkie. Sounds gay but they're truely some of my best mates! Spend loads of time with 'em and they're just so funny .

I can remember when Max (the Yorkie) had his balls cut off. The day he came home he was still under the effects of anastetic and was stumbling all over the place like he was pissed.

He had them off at about 10am yesterday and his current owners said he was feeling a little sorry for himself last night - who wouldn't - but he should hopefully be ok today as it's a big day for him
