I know a month is more than enough, thats why I said it really... I figured that in a month if we haven't got them then there really is no excuse to still have all our money, with only half arsed updates that are supposed to satisfy us we're not getting fucked over.
Anybody wants to call it quits it sooner thats fair enough, really don't blame you, but I'm saying 10th Nov, so Dave's got enough time to turn this thing around.
Between Chris Astley and V Sport i'm fucking fed up with Vaux specialists customer service.

Are you guys mad?Take Ian's advice, you have rights. If he is ignoring you then take it further, simple as. If this was me I would be on the phone to trading standards right away.

Right dave you said
"Quick update, Lights are in the UK and we will have them shortly. Have had an issue with the company that was formely DEPO UK. Since we ordered them the company went into luiquidation and until all legal matters are resolved the administrators will not release stock.
I have spoke with the admninistrators and DEPO Taiwan (which isnt easy!) and both have confirmed that the stock is our property and will be released shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience of the wait, we have no control over it and are in the same situation as all of the people that are waiting for their lights.
We used to order them through a company that traded as DEPO uk. They were closing up and DEPO wanted new distributors. We were offered the remaining UK stock of the dark headlights which we agreed to take but before they were dispatched the company closed. The administrators which took over finalise the companies stock and finances would not send us the stock until DEPO Taiwan agreed that we could have them, thats when the fun started..... I had to prove that they were paid for, Administrators had to prove the company that was formely DEPO uk had paid DEPO Taiwan for the stock.
But following various 2.30 am phonecalls we have the matter resolved.
Good news, stock is arriving with us within 14 days"
THAT WAS POSTED ON THE 26TH SEPTEMBER 2008-10:32 AM
SOOOO..... THAT WAS 15 DAYS AGO! HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LIGHTS YET? WE NEED UP DATES ITS BEEN NEAR ENOUGH 6 MONTHS! WHATS HAPPENING YOUR LEAVING US SAT IN THE DARK

I think we all should give Dave 1 month from today to either get us our sodding lights, or get us some proof that he has any lights coming (scan of an invoice, anything). Otherwise we should all call it quits and group buy over, money back time.
So that's me, enough is enough... By 10th November, lights, satisfied we have lights and they're imminent, or money back.
... What a complete fuck up this has been!
Col.
I agree, 10th November n thats it, gettin too pissed off now with waiting

Can I also remind people once again that I don't intend getting involved while you all have the rights and the ability to sort it yourselves.
If you intend to cancel, this must be done on durable medium, ie. letter, email or fax. A phone call is not sufficient notification and neither, for that matter, is moaning on the internet.

Right then. Basically if you want a re-fund you have to write a letter to v-sport. Dave a will not re-fund you over the phone because i've tried to do this today. I wish my post will not get deleted because its usefull infomation for the group buy members. Dave a also said over the phone that he still has not updates on the Depo's. I will advise EVERYONE to get their money back & also trading standards are involved in the matter. People who paid over the phone via debit card will not be able to get a re-fund from you're bank because you only have a time period of 120 days to cancel a transaction which is obviously over now.

Right people, as has been previously said, it's gotta be time to start protecting our rights as customers...I'm still being totally open to being proved wrong and that's why I'm still saying the 10th November.
But, I'd advise everyone to write a letter like the one I've done today and send it via registered post. If it comes to a worst case scenario, you'll have to prove that you have at least tried to give notice, or previously tried to get your money back.
...and I've just noticed MS word has made 'were' into 'we're'....Bugger, be reet!

Im not involved in the group buy but i cant stand seeing this anymore, but im glad somebody has their head screwed on with the letter above. Still i think it should be a little more harsh and like dan lewis above said. 7 days to refund. It only takes them 2mins to process a refund.
Good luck to all, And dave hasnt been online since the 3rd
