I'm really impressed with the game physics. When he is climbing up the wall with the ice pick, look how his jacket is moving around in the wind, also when mctavish is climbing up notice how realisticly his weapon is moving around on his side. I also noticed how detailed the cracks in the ice were when they were climbing up the cliff. The enemies falling to the floor have developed alot too, they fall much more realistically.

That would be a good addition definately, plus, if there's vehicles in MW2 which I think there is, they really need to bring 'BASE' back. That's what made UO such an amazing game imo, nothing like a 60 man server, unlimited time BAS battle.

Their shouldn't be vehicles they just ruin the multiplayer , like in WAW if someone gets a tank it's a pain to win the game. It's just nooby lol. Although fun to kill your mates in

quote: Gracing the article is of course you...at least "you" back in CoD4, when you were Soap, as it is widely believed the mohawk-ed operative is indeed "Soap" MacTavish. -- the evidence being the scar over his left eye, most probably caused in the "Game Over" level of MW. In MW2 you become Gary "Roach" Sanderson and MacTavish is your superior. Just goes to show you, promotions during wartime can come quick.
One of the better quotes in the article comes from Fourzerotwo, IW's CM:
"This is a true sequel to Modern Warfare...in the last game you killed [terrorist leader] Zakhaev. His second-hand man was Makarov, the mad dog of the organization who was kept in check by Zakhaev. Now that Zakhaev is no longer part of the equation, he has the ability to take power."
"In response to that threat, Western governments have created Task Force 141. The Taskforce is basically the elite: hand picked Delta Force Rangers, SAS, CIA - a multinational special forces group".
IW's Zampella then adds:
"You'll play multiple perspectives. The marines might secure a location, then the CIA will scrub the computers, gather intel"
Fourzerotwo:
"It depends on the operation. You might see a SEAL-heavy mission that requires a US SEAL member to lead. Or you might see something like RIO where Soap leads, but it's all Task Force 141".
Another interesting bit of the article is we now know the name of the level with all the Russian Riot police. It is called Gulag and it appears to be a co-operative "Special Ops" level.
The authors ask Zampella about one scene that apparently shows a room filled with "autoturrets", tripod mounted guns that have laser sights which rip into advancing enemy combatants:
" We go for authenticity not realism. We're not making a sim, we're making entertainment. We want it to look real, like an action movie. You see a guy in an action movie. What he does is a little over the top. It makes for a great movie".

quote: Two-player is the “magic number” for co-op, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward has said.
The last Call of Duty game, Treyarch's World at War, featured four-player campaign co-op and a bonus four-player survival Zombie Mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, due out worldwide on November 10, won't have a campaign co-op mode at all. Instead it will have a two-player Special Ops mode, “designed to be replayed over and over again”.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, Robert Bowling, director of communications/community manager at Infinity Ward, explained the decision, saying it didn't want to “ruin the story by cramming co-op into it”.
He said: “We don’t do co-op in our story because we’re crafting a very specific experience and we don’t want to ruin that by cramming co-op into it. We take the moments that work really well with co-op, we bring them out and we put them in Special Ops.”
“Story’s all about pacing,” he added. “Sometimes moments get toned down because they don’t fit with the pacing of the experience you’re trying to deliver. There (in Special Ops) it’s all about fun. It’s about playing over and over again, getting a better time – you’ll have a time at the end of it – it’s about challenging a friend going in on co-op and trying to beat it on veteran.”
When asked why Special Ops was limited to two players, not four, Bowling replied: “Two player seemed to be the magic number for co-op. That’s when it stayed really fun and intense without becoming a clusterf**k of things. We just found that two-players was the most fun.”

Its fuckin wrong that they put the price up to £55 for this one, was on the radio today,
Wont stop people buying it, but to put the price up because its popular is bullshit.
Id like to think people dont buy it just to teach them a lesson but that'l never happen!
(cant wait till its released though!! )

I liked how they have took notice of what the PC community did mod wise, modders took the AC130 out of single player and modded it into MP on MW1 and it was brilliant, they have just made it better really.
