Just done that, no a light doesn't come on...but it never has so I'm not sure whether my car has the light in there.

you need to check fuse 17, bottom row second from the left it'll be labbelled 17 to the right of it

It's a red fuse marked "10" and the small metal between the two larger bits of metal seems to be intact.

It was the wiring behind the head unit, the remote wire doesn't go in the ACC after all, it went in another cable, I think one of the battery ones, but we made sure to test that it turned off the amp when we turned off the ignition.
