I think I must have strange taste because as beautiful the ring that Kirsty posted is, it seems too "classic" for me. I prefer unique looking things. Like this : http://www.niessing.com/mb/showComp?nav=tensionrings_verlauf_d&lan=en&pagename=GridPage&skin=niessing&cou=uk&wosid=BX8i2AdjR2JOMxOwtAWlhM

here hers is...
Got it from a company called DeJoria. Helpfull bunch. Also got both our platnum wedding rings from them too
http://www.dejoria.co.uk/create-your-diamond-ring.html
you can pick and choose what you want. I cant remember the carat or clarity, but they were pretty good ones. Also conflict free :/
From memory it was 1.5k. People who say you MUST spend 2 months salary on a ring must have shitey wages or no brains.
Paying for the wedding should be cosidered too. Thats bloody day light robbery!

A woman shouldnt dictate to you how much it should cost.
It is your gift to her.
I could have bought something more expensive - but I wouldnt have been happy about it.

thing is...
You spend £££ on engagement ring (thing you'll wear only shortly) and not as much on the wedding rings? (the things you'll wear for the rest of your life?).
Makes no sense.

You wear your engagement ring forever; with you're wedding ring.
The wedding ring is more of a wedding band; hence being plainer/simpler

The engagment ring is worn forever and is also the thing that she shows her pals.
Nobody cares about wedding rings.
I want a watch instead of a wedding ring tbh.

You can use a ring for blowjobs. (I know this isn't true, by the time you give them a ring the blowjobs for diamonds has stopped years ago)
