If you need to save Torres for midweek, don't play him at all, how long did he play by the way? In the first 15mins any damage which was going to happen would have already occured.

Just beaten Oldham away in quite possibly the most rainiest Football match of all time.

They only have 3 stands so wind was blowing all over the gaff, keeper took a deadball at one point that almost went out for a corner

Fantastic free kick from Robbie Williams to win it, and we had 4,000 fans in a total gate of just over 8,000

He might aswell have played all 90 then, as any muscle tears/strains or anything simlar will have been stretched as soon as he got warm.

TBH I think he played him for 60mins hoping the game would be over by then, and he could bring him off without a problem. In stead the game wasnt over and he still had to bring him off.

Its not like Torres has been fit for the last 6wks, this was his 2nd game back from injury.

Torres to Man City, you shouldn't just join any old team just to play in the Premier League, why be a passenger when you can get in the cockpit?

Yes, me and Raffa were drinking very heavily yesterday, he had to cut the binge short after 20 pints though at around half past 2 in the afternoon, something to do with picking his Sunday league team at Old Kings Road.

Did anyone see the lovely ladies at Burnley FC's ladies day on MOTD last night?

Rough as fuck! I dont think you would class any of them as ladies. Not one decent one amongst them

Toilet performance from us, at least we have some big games coming up, hopefully the players can get themselves up for those. We need torres and gerrard fit, we need aquilani to play and get more match fitness, we need to sell some of our shit in january and have a couple of players lined up ready to sign in the same window. Shocking!

Im not sure, I knew their must of been a reason neither Agger or Skrtel didnt play (or even on the bench) on Sat. People were saying he was resting them but I didnt buy that, same with Aurelio and Ngog.

Im betting we have swine flu - after I said I hoped Chavski caught it from Blackburn Its all my fault

It wouldn;t suprise me, that's alot of players out with a virus. I hope agger and aurellio are ok for lyon, they are the only (bar benny) players we have fit who are comfortable on the ball. Agger is a must if we are to have any chance of getting points against lyon and progressing into the CL knockout stages. For once, i'll be glad of international break if our unfit players don't get called up ( which is unlikely)
