morning. and what a morning. had a switch die on me this morning, okay i thought, theres a spare. plugged the spare in, blows up with an almighty crack so i unplugged it. when i got a shock

now theres 6/7 5 port switches and a 24 port cisco switch bodged together running the network temporarily

they aren't hanging anymore will i'm afraid. the cab wouldn't shut with them in that position

got a new switch on order but i could hardly turn round and say "yeah sorry, half your staff aren't working today"
