Whatever revs I need to achieve the required speed before changing gear.

As you can imagine, this varies quite a bit.

2-3k in normal driving and between 5-6k on a blast, 330ci has plenty low down grunt but does sound rather nice just past 5k

Anything up to 4krpm.

I won't take it above 3krpm if the engine isn't warm, unless I'm on the motorway.

Same here, at a guess I'd say I mostly change gear around 4-4.5k.

doesn anyone ever go near the limiter? or is it all more appropriate internet replies to pretend to drive like an angel?

i hit 7200 limiter many times in several gears yesterday in the corsa.

when im town driving i change at 3.5-4k
when booting it i aint a clue cause the revs go off the clock at 7 so i guess about 8k
