I know of a Black Sri, spax coilovers, astra gsi 15" wheels, fitted with a redtop, looks pretty good in the ad.
Does need some attention though nothing major just some new arch trims and a few engine covers repainted etc, its on ebay, local to me aswell in bodmin.

Or do you want to stick to turbo power?

Keeping the engine then, good idea, so just a shell I need to find?
Shame as really do love that nova.

How much did he pay for it in the end? He got any plans for it?

Astra, probably not much. Needs brakes. Want a facelift bumper if one comes up to replaced the scratched one that's on it.

Corsa, get the shell prepped and painted so its ready to start rebuilding.

Puma, refit the starter motor, investigate fluid loss on the nsr brake pipe, perhaps find some better suspension, get out there and use it.

Decent spec 1.6 16v, and before you get into a massive debate over 106 Rallye's, his is a nice example, shifts well etc, but doesn't have the £10,000 of work he claims has had done, and by the sounds of it, needs remapping.

According to him, a Nova weighs over a ton, mine doesn't weigh the 735kg that haynes manuals says it weighs, and a C20LET Nova will not do a 15 sec 1/4 but his Rallye that has been thrashed to bits does.

£10k on a rallye? Better be a 1.6 16v turbo then, if not it does not warrant £10k

Christ, a C20XE corsa will do a 15 sec 1/4, LET nova would defo be into the 14's.

I think he said 10k, tuned at pugsport or somewhere so he says and its N/A 8 valve "150 bhp" 2.0 Nova beating machine. It is a nice car though none the less, I wouldn't mind it if I didn't have my Nova but I think he over estimates it, it actually has done a 15 sec 1/4, he showed me some time slips from York raceway.

Mark, its a white one, was on white wheels but they're now black, lad called Scott, he's a good lad, he just underestimates the power of Vauxhall's a standard Nova GTE actually does a quicker 1/4 than a standard S2 106 Rallye.
