but ive lowered rears to 25psi and fronts to 22psi its really heavy on clear roads but on icy side streets i can drive easyily with no sliding all over like i was @35psi spot on in the snow and ice

car was ok, slid into a kerb, now have to hold steering wheel off centre to go straight.... Also now it is showing up tyre pressure warning light and traction control off light, both of which have switches that refuse to change it. Fuck knows whats wrong, b ut booked into Skoda for monday to get it looked at. Only good thing is a free hire car to abuse and they clean the car for us

A combination of no water and cold has almost killed my battery - looks like a trip to Halfrauds.

Mine keeps f**king stalling itself, does it now and again when it's wet but it's started doing it alot in this cold. When slowing down it just seems to stall, but I noticed last night if I let the clutch back out it fires itself back up other than that it's been okay

If you're letting the clutch out with it still in gear you're effectively bump starting it, so it will come back to life and is probably unrelated to your problem.

Apart from the handbrake freezing on but that is solved by leaving it in gear

Van behaves pretty well in this - turbo noise is pretty loud inside too

Summer tyres become slicks on real thick slushy snow though
