We do building services engineering Basically an Architect will send us building plans and tell us what work is being done and we design the systems to go inside, e.g. electrical socket positions, lighting arrangements, hot/cold water pipework routes and ventilation systems. I'm Mechanical so do the last two as opposed to the first. That's left to the chaps downstairs 
In short, I do CAD pretty much all day

I got the job from Connexions It's not something I planned to do, or even knew existed before I came here But I needed a job at the end of the day and it's not exactly horrible. Occasionally has boring points but so does every job. The main qualification I have is BND in Mechanical Engineering which included a CAD unit which is probably what swung it

You can do it sooner but it will change the date on it You can only do it a month before it runs out to keep the same expiry date as the year before. Hope that makes sense
